As a one woman business who operates by appointment only, I believe I am at the low end of the risk scale compared to many other businesses. However any health risk is a serious risk.
Guided by Public Health PEI recommendations, these are the steps I’m taking to ensure my client’s health as well as my own.
Social Distancing
- 1 person per session, or several people if from the same household will be permitted in the studio at one time.
- No guests or other people permitted unless they are immediate family. The less people the better.
- No touch posing. I will keep my distance and ‘mirror’ to guide you into poses vs adjusting clothing, hair myself.
- I will wear a mask by request if this makes you feel safer.
Illness Policy
- You will be screened before your appointment to ensure you are feeling well and have not been exposed to a COVID-19 positive person or should be self isolating.
- I will not work if I have any symptoms of COVID-19 or feel unwell.
- Symptoms include cough, headache, fever/ chills, sore throat, fatigue, sneezing, congestion, body aches, or runny nose.
- If you are unwell we will reschedule your appointment.
Enhanced Cleaning
- Stairway handrail and door handles will be cleaned with Spray 9 in between clients along with any other surfaces that may have had contact.
- Increased cleaning of bathroom.
- Vacuum and mop floors more frequently.
Hand cleaning and minimal touching of surfaces
- I will minimize touching in general and greet you at the door and let you in so you don’t have to touch any door handles.
- Frequent and thorough washing of my hands prior to client arrival.
- Prepayment of session fees online or online invoicing.
- Hand sanitizer is available as well as a bathroom to wash hands with soap.
